Dr. Alfredo Fernández-Landa

Dr. Alfredo Fernández-Landa is an expert in the development of environmental applications based on information from remote sensors (LiDAR, RADAR and Optical). He holds a PhD in Remote Sensing from the Polytechnic University of Madrid.

He has spent the last 10 years working both at the university and in R&D in private companies, and has extensive experience in the application of Machine Learning techniques in the analysis of satellite data time series.

Alfredo’s responsibilities at Detektia are to lead and oversee the development, strategy and management of innovative and high quality products in the field of satellite technology. The main mission is to ensure that the company’s product portfolio is aligned with market needs and the organization’s strategic goals, thus ensuring sustainable growth and competitive advantage.
