MSc. Candela Sancho

Chief Executive Officer

MSc. Candela Sancho has extensive experience in the analysis of natural and anthropogenic processes that drive ground deformation. She has worked at the Department of Geosciences of the CSIC-Jaume Almera Institute (Barcelona, Spain) and at the Department of Tectonophysics of the University of Utrecht (Utrecht, The Netherlands) for more than 7 years.

Her professional career has focused on the detection, modelling and analysis of subsidence and surface and subsurface deformation in the Eurasian plate. Candela is proficient in DInSAR processing and is an expert in geophysical deformation mechanisms affecting ground stability.

Candela’s primary role at Detektia is to lead the strategic and executive direction of the organization to achieve growth, profitability and long-term success in the control of large infrastructures using satellite technology. The objective of the position is to guide the company in a highly competitive and constantly evolving environment.
